International Shipping for B2B Custom Suits: A Practical Guide

How tailoring shops can plan addresses, documents, tracking, duties and delivery evidence.

Make the address machine-readable

Store country using the recognized ISO code and keep state or province, city, postal code, street and contact phone in separate fields. Confirm scripts and transliterations required by the carrier. A complete address reduces manual correction and failed delivery risk.

Define responsibility before dispatch

The PI should state the shipping method and clarify who is responsible for import duties, taxes and local fees. These charges depend on destination and import arrangement; confirm them with the carrier, customs broker or local authority rather than relying on a generic website estimate.

Keep proof connected to the order

Save the tracking number, dispatch date, package count and delivery status with the PI. When a customer reports a problem, the store can see what was shipped and when. Delivery photos or signed proof should be published as marketing evidence only with permission and private details removed.
