White Label vs Private Label Tailoring: Which Model Fits Your Store?
A clear comparison of white-label and private-label made-to-measure supply models.

White label: speed and operational simplicity
White-label supply usually uses a manufacturer’s established product and operating system while allowing the retailer to sell under its own customer relationship. It suits stores that want to launch quickly without designing every production standard from the beginning.
Private label: greater brand control
Private-label programs may add custom labels, packaging, product rules, exclusive options or a more deeply branded ordering experience. The trade-off is additional setup, approvals and responsibility for consistent specifications.
Choose based on what the customer can see
List every customer-facing touchpoint: website, fitting, PI, garment label, packaging, shipping notification and after-sales message. Decide which elements must carry your brand and which can remain operational. A staged approach often works best: begin with a proven white-label workflow, then add private-label elements after order volume and service standards are stable.
